The Players Club at Deer Creek in Omaha will continue its string of major additions when $1.6-million in new construction begins this fall. General Manager Chris Jacobson said F&B Constructors, Inc. of Omaha will begin work around October 1 that will triple the size of the dining room as well as add locker rooms, a members' grille, lounge, offices, restrooms and storage area.
The United States Golf Association has announced that Omaha Country Club has been selected as the site for the 2013 U.S. Senior Open. The dates of the championship will be August 1-4.
