Green Sets Career Low Mark in San Antonio
|
 |
|
Nathan Green, a 33-year-old from South Wales, Australia and a three-year member of the PGA Tour, carded the lowest score of his career in the opening round of the Valero Texas Open in San Antonio. Green's 8-under-par 62, which included six birdies in his first 10 holes, helped forge a two-stroke lead over Olin Brown and Paul Claxton. Six players are tied for fourth at 5-under.
