Dye Designs Sixth Course at Reynolds Plantation
The legendary Pete Dye is complimenting his impressive portfolio with a new design at Reynolds Plantation on Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Ga. Dye adds his name to a "who's who" of architects who have built courses at Reynolds, including Bob Cupp, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, Rees Jones and Jim Engh.

41st PGA Professional National Championship Set for Reynolds Plantation
The Reynolds Landing and Great Waters courses in Greensboro, Ga., are ready to host 312 players for the 41st PGA Professional National Championship. The event is set to start Thursday and run through Sunday, June 19-22.

People always ask me what the first rule is in evaluating a golf course. The answer is somewhat altruistic: judge a course on its value to the game of golf, not on what it cost to attain. The owners of Reynolds Plantation may have known this as they planned the fifth course at their idyllic Georgia resort; they simply told the architect, "Give us something different." They already had courses by Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, Rees Jones, and Bob Cupp. They weren't pipe dreaming of hosting a PGA Tour event. They weren't interested in bragging rights from magazine rankings. They wanted a unique course. They wisely selected Jim Engh.

Georgia Golf Hall of Fame Announces Reynolds Caddie Medal Recipients
Two former caddies were bestowed the Reynolds Caddie Medal by the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame. The medal, presented in memory of John and Frances Reynolds, honors a caddie or caddie-master in recognition of their game knowledge, excellence, perseverance, wisdom, friendship and all that these characteristics imply.
