Play Golf Indiana Declared by Governor

June 25, 2008. July will be "Play Golf Indiana" month as declared by Governor Mitch Daniels. The National Golf Course Owners Association and the Indiana Chapter are using this designation as an opportunity to kick off a state-wide adult player development program "Learn to Golf Indiana."
Golfers may sign up at participating courses in June and start learning to play in July. This project is sponsored by Club Car, NGCOA and PGA. Courses can sign up at www.ingcoagolf.org by June 30. Participating facilities will be eligible for a free NGCOA membership drawing in November.'
The Link Up 2 Golf format is being utilized for this program, which includes: free orientation, six group lessons and five on-course experiences. New and returning players are invited to take advantage of this program.
