PGA National Welcomes Service Men & Women Labor Day Weekend

PGA National Resort & Spa has issued an open invitation to active duty military personnel and their families to enjoy a Labor Day "Thank You" celebration, compliments of the resort.
As a way of thanking the dedicated service men and women, as well as the families that support them year-round, the Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., the resort has set aside 300 hotel rooms for active-duty military personnel, and will be throwing a giant party at the recently renovated property's resort pool. The party will be open to all resort guests and includes an evening cookout followed by a full day of celebration that will include music, family pictures, family games, volleyball, badminton, a bounce house and more.
As part of the complimentary package for service men and women, PGA National Resort & Spa is offering one-night complimentary accommodations, with check-in September 1st (maximum four people per room, one room per service member); complimentary golf at the Palmer course September 2; and complimentary use of resort amenities, including the 33,000-square-foot Health & Racquet Club, tennis, swimming and fitness classes. There will be a cookout on Monday, September 1, followed by a drive-in movie, compliments of Moroso Motorsports Park, with the day-long party taking place on September 2.
Active duty military guests will also be offered a 30% discount on all spa treatments during their stay, additional food and beverage discounts, and families can extend their weekend for an $89 per-room, per-night rate.
"This is one small thing we can do to give a big thank you to our troops," said Joel Paige, PGA National Resort & Spa's managing director. "We want service men and women to be able to enjoy a time of relaxation and celebration with their families, and create memories that will stay with them for years."
To make reservations, active duty soldiers can call 1-877- PGA-NATL and ask about the "Thanks Fore Our Troops" package. Guests will be asked to present activity military ID upon check in. For more information about the resort, visit PGA National Resort
